Mitterberg round walk 31.12.2007
After 17 days of continuous frost today the temperatures are rising above zero, and the mist disappears. Thanks god it did not rain before, as forecast. So I take the last day of the year for a walk around Mitterberg.
Afdter half of the way the usual view to Hohe Wand. Changing clouds and sunny spells over the land.
Stollhof and Hohe Wand with Hubertushuette
The northeastern end of Hohe Wand, far right behind the forest the village of Dreistetten, where I started only a few days ago in dense mist to Herrgottschnitzerhaus - the viewpoint on the rock is marked with "V" - see the walk of 27.12.2007. In only one day all the beautiful hoarfrost has molten away.

So the old year passes by, and what I wish is to see many views like this in the new one ...
