18.6.2024 Three lakes tour.
Daytime trip Grundlsee - Toplitzsee - Kammersee.
We are a bit late at the jetty for the Grundlsee boat, so we have to wait for the next boat.
So we spend our time on the lake shore.
View to the head of the lake.
Near the jetty, a swan family is waiting for tourist to get some of their lunch.
Off we sail, and soon the Backenstein appears, the landmark of the Grundlsee.

Grundlsee Castle, the rock wall to the right is the Gösslwand, where we shall walk along to the Toplitzsee.

Arrived at the Toplitzsee, we soon enter the motor barge to sal along to the opposite side.
The lake is abour 100 m deep in this area.

The beck at the head of the lake.
Together with a gaggle of people I walk the short leg to the Kammersee. This gap is artificial, constructed centuries ago for down-carriage of wood truks (needed for fire in the salt production).

Once more the beck at the jetty.

Back on solid ground again.
The outflow of the Toplitzsees. The alternative way back now leads through cooler forest.
