17.2.2025: A morning in the Maramboi Lodge and drive to Arusha/Usa River.

After 2 strenuous days, we start the day a bit slower.

However, I am up already before sunrise, for the "blue hour".

Normally, at dry season like now, thge palm trees stand in the dry area; for a few years  however (locals say this is due to climate change) it is getting wetter, and the lake now is reaching up to the houses.

Fishermen have discaovered the area.

Slowly, yellow orange light of the rising sun is mixing into the blue.

I am not sure if they catch anything here.

Palm trees in the water of Lake Manyara.

Lorli also is enjoying the wonderful morning at he lake.

The houses nearly stand inside the water. I wonder what´s up during the "real" rain season during April

Breakfast at the patio od the lodge restaurant.

The area of the lodge being so large, we are carried from and to the restaurant by this electric car.

Houses on the water.

Here, I was accomodated for two nights.

Rather luxury inside.

Farewell from Lake Mayara.

Within the traffic mayhem of the megacity of Arusha.
