Schlossberg 24.4.2017
My car needs new break pads, which is done in a small garage in Gaaden. Während dieser Zeit wandere ich mit Lucy auf den Schlossberg.
Cowslips, growing in the grass besides the horse chestnut alley.
No clouds on Schneeberg today - for now anyway.

... and a bit higher, on my favourite rock plateau, which gives such a gorgeous view , to the ruin and the Wechsel mountains ...
... and to the Schneeberg.
Back in the forest near the ruin, inside the forest lots of coralroot bittercress (Cardamine bulbifera)
Back at the horse chestnut alley.
I branch off to the left and walk along the upper edge of the field, back to the Teichmühle ...
... and from there a bit up heading for Stollhof. The remains of the recently fallen snow, ...
... still remaining on Schneeberg.
Cowslips in the shelter belt..
As Schneeberg is so pretty today, I have aquick drive afterwards to yesterday´s oilseed rape field ...
A few summit clouds in the meantime.
