30.9.2024: Tromsø - Olderdalen
Today, we drive to Olderdalen, east of Tromsø. Though not really far, the journey is time consuming, because you have to take the ferry twice, so the overall time to go is much longer. We arrive at lunch time; to drive directly to Øksfjord, would be too much stree, because the ship in Øksfjord leaves at 4 p.m., hence this stop.
The day begins cloudy, but in Norway may quickly chang, and as early as near Nordbotn/Fagernes,a sunny spell is seen with the view to the heads of the Ramfjorden.

Shortly before Breivikeidet, our ferry boat is waiting already.

Sailing the Ullsfjord.
In Svensby, we only have 30 minutes to the next ferry departure, and the
rout plnaner says it take 20 minutes, so no stop for a photograph in between.
The next picture therefore is already from the sail from Lyngseidet over the Lyngenfjord
to Olderdalen.
The ferry boat has an electric drive, so the journey is unfamiliar quiet.

The ferry boat is approaching the harbour of Olderdalen. Our wonderful accomodation is in the white house far left, so in fact we have arrived in our destiny now.
The small harbour of Olderdalen ...
... with a wonderful view over the Lyngenfjord to the Lyngen alps. The feery boat is on the way back.

A small side valley behind Olderdalen also is called Olderdalen. In the background the Kistefjellet (1.257 m). I cannot identify all the other mountains on the other photographs
