Marble Quarry and Grössenberg 2.1.2015
A day off, and the sun is shining. After the frost of the late Christmas days, it got warmer. So, I start for a longer walk from my home to the marble quarry, and further on to Grössenberg, back through the vineyards.
I opt for the first path to the forestz, immediately after the tennis ground.
Unbelievable, but true: flourishing Stinking Hellebore (Helleborus foetidus). The last very warm December has favoured its growth.
