A morning walk from Losenheim to the Fadensattel

Soon after the carpark in Losenheim near the beck: Ramsons (Allium ursinum) in abundance, in full bloom.

After the huge lots of snow last winter, even at the end of May there is residual snow down to 1.200 m asl.

Elder-flowered orchid (Dactylorhiza sambucina) in abundance also this year, but not as beautiful as last year. In places with much winter snow remaining for a long time, there are only buds, in other, early snow-free places, where the sun shone whole April, they are dried up or withered. Still enough for some pictures.

I descend a small bit into the narrow ravine behind the Almreserlhaus, where thousands of kingcups can be seen from afar by their yellow refulgence.
