8.9.: Günstner waterfall and bathing lake near Krakaudorf.
Today, we plan a slightly smaller walk and pay a visit to the Günstner waterfall between Kraukaudorf and Schöder.
The Günstner Waterfall is 65 m high, thus the highest waterfall of Styria.
The uppermost cascade, above the bridge.
We continue our walk up for an hour or so, a gravel road upwards to a nice grassland within the forestwith last flowers (eyebright), ...
... and some other delicate things.
Some time remaining before the inn in Krakaudorf opens or dinner, and as we don´t want to drive to the farm and back, we use the time for a short visit to the small bathing lake above Krakaudorf.
