12.3.2019: more time today, so I start my walk from home.

At the aqueduct dam I find leaf rosettes of the adriatic lizard orchid (Himantoglossum adriaticum). All in all, I count 65 individuals, mostly in groups of 5 to 15 plants, each in an arera of a few metres in diameter. Good that, after my complain at the appropriate authorities, mowed this grass area later on in the year. So, there was a chance for seeds to be built and germinate. Thanks to the MA 31, the Vienna drinking water company, for this positive reaction!

Cornel in full flower.

Spring cinquefoil (Potentilla neumanniana) in nice yellow cushions.

First spring pheasant's eyes (Adonis vernalis) near the outskirts of Brunn - still far from their maximum.

15.3.2019: With incoming clouds and stromng wind, I walk up besides the big quarry and walk to ruin Emmerberg, then down to the valley and back via the "Steinernes Bankerl".

View down on Winzendorf, from above the quarry wall.

You can even see Schneeberg from here, ...

... which is a bit wrapped in clouds today.

Down near the archers´ training area in Gaaden lots of common primroses (Primula vulgaris) ...

... and liverleafs (Hepatica nobilis) in the forest opposite to ruin Emmerberg.
