A short bicycle ride into the valley of the river Koppentraun.
Shortly beneath the "Wasnerin", we branched off on a good tarmac road heading for Obertraun.
After a few kilometres, we are down the valley at a big suspension bridge crossing the river Koppentraun, which is more like a mountain torrent here.
Near he river, lots of hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) in flower.
Shortly before a river bend, we sit down for a break.

I have discovered a river kolk, which maybe has originated from a giant´s kettle.
On the way back ascending through the steep forest: glutinous sage (Salvia glutinosa)
Horse mint (Mentha longifolia)
... and once more hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum)
hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) and wood ragwort (Senecio ovatus, Senecio fuchsii)
